We saw the Machu Picchu exhibit. I found the set up confusing. We didn't see clear directions as to entrances and exits. The VR show had an actress cost and a xc infinitesimal wait. The displays were impressive, especially if you have an interest in aboriginal cultures. Would I recommend this exhibit? Information technology depends. We thought it was not a lot of bang for your buck and the organization was slipshod.

I went for the Machu Picchu exhibit and was very impressed! I run into a few negative comments about it but as far as museums and their temporary exhibits goes this was one of the nicer ones. The artifacts on show were more often than not jewelry and pottery, but intendance was taken to explain the details of Incan life and civilization. I left with a greater appreciation for a culture and respect for the Peru and now want to run across Machu Picchu in person. The VR experience is a long wait and is impressive, but I am not certain if it is worth the look. Overall, nonetheless, the exhibit is astounding. I would return to the museum in the hereafter to see the permanent drove or mayhap other exhibits in the future.

Avoid the Machu Picchu exhibit!
This was a very expensive ($95 for 2 of us before fees) and completely chaotic experience. At that place were no signs telling you which of the three lines to stand in while waiting outside the museum entrance and many people jostling each other, trying to effigy it out.
We should take been tipped off to what a ripoff this was when, afterward waiting a half hour, we finally got to the entrance where the showtime thing that "greeted" us was a behemothic "NO REFUNDS" sign. A first for united states at a museum!

There were way besides many people for a timed entry exhibition. It was scary and dangerously crowded, with most people maskless and museum employees demanding that everyone huddle closer together in the several areas you had to wait before you were finally admitted. At that place were 2 more than "holding" areas once you really got inside where nosotros had to expect for at to the lowest degree some other twoscore five minutes to an hr. The curt introductory film was informative, but again, there were way more the 30 people who were supposed to be in the room at a time.

In one case we entered the exhibition space, it was and so crowded that y'all couldn't become close to whatever of the exhibits then the boosted toll of the Acoustiguide was even more money out the window.

When we saw how crowded it was, we left the exhibit within minutes,

We then went outside and waited in another line for the Virtual Reality Experience (a line that included people who hadn't purchased their tickets in advance). After at to the lowest degree another i/two hr waiting outside, and and so seeing that at that place were two more areas after that where we would have to look for some other 60 minutes, we gave up.

I went to the forepart desk-bound, was rejected when I asked for a refund, and got the business card of the director. I left a bulletin and sent an e-mail to him. He actually called back and we had a discussion and talked nearly how chaotic and dangerous the morning had been. He told us that 170 tickets are sold for each timed entry period and asked how many other people would information technology have taken for us to feel comfy. I told him 50. He told me they could never make any money selling so few tickets per time slot. When the cell call became crackly and nosotros had to keep repeating ourselves, nosotros decided he would call us dorsum the next morn. That would take been Th, Feb. x. I sent another email several days ago and haven't heard back from him. Is this any style to run a museum? You bet it isn't.

The Manchu Picchu virtual reality bout at the Boca Art Museum was AWFUL! I was then disappointed afterward spending $36 for two people. Not only tour was less than fifteen minutes, the viewing was not fifty-fifty crystal clear. If you have been to Soarin' at Epcot Center in Disney Globe, you would know what I mean.

Enjoyed the four minute video about Manchu Picchu. We were zipped above the village seeing animals, birds & visitors. We walked through a very busy showroom with 2000-yr-erstwhile vessels and the story of Ai Apacc On the wall in Spanish and English language. We saw ceramic, silver, gilt, & turquoise Vessels, jewelry, housewares...

Most of the exhibit is from the Larco Museum in Lima PerĂº, We were there 6 years ago, It was very memorable and special.

We spent :90 inside the showroom we got on a :45 line for the virtual reality exhibit that wrapped around the lobby & courtyard. There were 3 lines in front with staff helping to directly us to the correct place.

Machu Picchu and Virtual Reality addition. We purchased timed tickets for both. What the website does not tell you lot is that your timed entry does not include the extra virtual reality tour. Either before or after you visit the Machu Picchu exhibit, you lot must exit the museum and wait in line for the virtual reality tour, we had to wait just over an hour for the virtual reality. If we had known, I would not take payed extra for the virtual reality tour. The museum website should inform of this. Nosotros also paid for parking and had not accounted for an extra hr wait. Overall, this is a practiced museum, but on this indicate very disorganized and non considerate of visitors. We were very disappointed.

Two of my friends and I drove 1.v hours to attend the Machu Pichu Exhibition at the Boca Raton Museum of Fine art. WOW! It was definitely worth the bulldoze. Kickoff, permit me say, the museum staff was wonderful; well rehearsed for answering questions, organized, helpful and friendly. The exhibit itself was well planned and laid out in an piece of cake to follow fashion. If you make the time to visit, you must include the Virtual Reality Evidence. It made the experience ever then much more than fun and made you feel like you had left Florida for Republic of peru! The wonders of the Incan earth certainly came to life with this show and i would recommend anyone interested in the history of the Incas to attend.

We spent almost $200 for the Machu Picchu showroom. The artifacts were very well preserved and the story flowed well from ane area to the next. The museum was our main problem. We arrived at our scheduled time and waited in 1 line to become in. They were allowing a few guests in at a time because in that location were three more lines to become through prior to inbound the exhibit. Since we also paid for the virtual reality experience, we had to get out the museum and go dorsum in line after looking at the artifacts. It took over an hour in this line for a 10 infinitesimal experience. We joked that information technology would have been quicker just to fly to Peru. I wouldn't recommend the total package.

Misnamed and overpriced exhibit. A very pocket-sized portion of the material dealt with the site itself. Most of the artifacts dealt with Andean myths and cultures non with Machu Pichu. The pieces they had were very good but the site itself was brusque changed. Because the contents it was VERY overpriced.

The artifacts were very well preserved and quite interesting. The total-on sexual pieces were bully. It then got slightly dull until the gold and silver pieces, about the terminate. The craftsmanship was impressive.
I don't empathise why the museum was airtight for everything else except for Machu Picchu. It was expensive to go to the show. I would have liked to accept had the option to run into other things in the museum.
